Jon Courtney’s extensive experience in Maine politics allows him to steer legislative matters with an eye on the long game. With ten years as a Maine Legislator, four years in Republican Senate Leadership, and a significant practice as a lobbyist, Jon Courtney well knows how to navigate the waters of Maine’s public policy arena, simultaneously building strong, long term relationships that benefit his clients.

A life-long Mainer from the southern part of the state, Courtney has owned successful Maine businesses since 1985. This first-hand economic development experience in the Pine Tree State gives Courtney a common-sense perspective with his clients on matters that seek legislative resolution.

Jon Courtney is married and lives in Pownal, Maine. A member of the Sanford Kiwanis Club for 30 years, Courtney has also coached youth sports in his community. He is the father of three grown children, has three step children, and five grandchildren. He enjoys golf, travel and building relationships.
